My name is Bill Griepenstroh (Grip-en-straw) and I’m a commercial director and editor employed full-time as the Lead Video Director at Unanimous, a branding a marketing agency based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I first started creating videos regularly in my late teen years as a bored small town Nebraska kid just making videos for fun with my friends- trying (unsuccessfully) to get famous on YouTube. But through that I discovered a love of writing, directing, telling stories, and that I wanted to keep making videos for a career, even though I had no vision for my future in this career.

It wasn’t until my mid 20’s that it all started to click and a relentless hunger to get better took over. Over the next few years I refined my technical and storytelling skills through whatever opportunity came my way, mostly solo projects that collectively helped raise millions of dollars for non-profits. In my early 30s I transitioned from solo videographer to commercial director, learning to collaborate and lead talented filmmaking specialists. But whether it’s a solo project or a commercial with dozens of people on set- my desire to make every project as good as it can be remains the same.
